“sometimes a person has to break the law to make sure justice is served,” (rated it as a 9.99) because its possible that you could be attacked by someone trying to kill you, and the cops may not be able to get there in time, so that would make it so that you’d have to take it into your own hands, even if it means killing that person (in self defense).
“Life today is more difficult than it was in the 1930s” (rated it a 1.1) It is not because today we have easy access to all of our necessities, and we also have the ability to travel longer distances than in the 30s, and we even have a better understanding on how diseases affect out bodies, than we did in the 30s.

The book I’m reading is a book about how bad the black people and Native Americans were being treated (during the times of segregation, and after slavery was ended), and the idea I’m seeing here is that Native Americans and blacks were being treated really poorly during these times.
